This week I thought we’d take a look at a couple of local stereographs in our collection.

This is a view looking north on Canada Street in present day Lake George. The stereograph was taken by Seneca Ray Stoddard and is #983 in his collection.

This is a view looking east down the Hudson River of the covered bridge between Glens Falls and South Glens Falls. The stereograph is by George Conkey an early partner of Seneca Ray Stoddard. #102 Gems from Lake George and The Hudson.

Another George Conkey stereograph entitled Lake George from Crosbyside. #114 from his series Gems from Lake George and the Hudson.

This last stereograph is the Lobby of the Fort William Henry Hotel by Seneca Ray Stoddard.
