Convent no longer standing: a former glens falls landmark was the convent of the sisters of st. joseph , nuns of St. Mary's Parish at the corner of Maple and Chruch Streets. The convent formerly the Bowden home was razed this summer to make room for an enlarged and modernized structure for the sisters.
