The Warren County Historical Society was the destination for about 200 people on Thursday, September 12, 2019. It was the formal opening of the museum at 50 Gurney Lane in Queensbury.
From 5 pm – 8 pm the crowds gathered to observe the ribbon cutting sponsored by the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce for the new museum and walked around crowded exhibit space to view the new permanent exhibit, WARREN COUNTY 360°: CELEBRATING PLACE AND PEOPLE.
In addition to the ribbon cutting, the attendees were treated to delicious food supplied by Oscar’s of Warrensburg, Beans Country Store at The Oneida, and the Bullpen in downtown Glens Falls. Wine, flavored water, and desserts provided by WCHS Board members rounded out the fare.
We thank everyone who helped make it a night to remember. More photos appear on our Facebook page.
