The Native American fountain in Battlefield Park at Lake George was originally named “The Mohawk Warrior.” It was given to the State of New York in 1921.  It was repaired and restored and rededicated in September 2005.  Funding for the project was provided by a collaboration the Eastern Woodland Alliance, the Warren County Historical Society, and the New York Department of Environmental Conservation.
