The following article appears to come from a local paper.  It was taken out of a scrapbook.  The particular paper is unknown.  The scrapbook is marked 1944, and the saver wrote “Aug 4” in the lower left-hand corner.

It is interesting to note that the scrapbooker felt it was important enough to cut out and save.
