Rewind: December 2, 2020 – “The Bertram E. Murray Bridge”

The Bertram E. Murray Bridge

Between the Towns of Bolton and Warrensburg is a spot called ‘Riverbank.’  In 1940, the bridge there that crosses the Schroon River was given a name to honor the life and public service of a special individual, Bertram E. Murray.

Mr. Murray was the Warren County Superintendent of Highways from 1909 to 1939.  Found in a file of papers given to the County Historian was a memorial booklet from the day of the dedication.  We present the booklet here.
