Jesse Sumner Wooley – Postcards of the Lake George in the early 20th Century.

Noted regional photographer Jesse Sumner Wooley (1867 – 1943) of Ballston Spa, NY traveled to Lake George in the first part of the 20th century to shoot photos to be sold as postcards of the region.

The Warren County Historical Society recently received a collection of his postcards from the Saratoga County Historical Society. The collection contains some 43 images. A sample from the collection is provided here:
